Atelier Amas France
Galaxy clusters are the largest structures in the universe. In recent years multi-wavelength observations have opened new windows of opportunities to study the complex processes that shape the formation, evolution and physical properties of galaxy clusters. Future observational programs will provide new insights on galaxy cluster physics and cosmology. French groups are at the forefront of the research on galaxy clusters and are major players in several survey programs of the future. The goal of this event is to gather the French community for a two days meeting to present state-of-art results on theory, observations and simulations of galaxy clusters. The aim is to provide a comprehensive view of the researcher activity carried by the various groups, favor the exchange of novel ideas and promote collaborations beyond the boundaries of existing consortia.
